By road

Rajgir is roughly 105 km from Patna, usually around three hours by road depending on traffic. Nalanda is about 15 km away, so many visitors combine the two. If you drive, Hotel Vijay offers free on-site parking.

By air

The nearest major airport is Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport in Patna (PAT), roughly 105 km away. Pilgrims coming for Bodh Gaya may also use Gaya Airport; please confirm the road distance and travel time before you book transport.
